Украинские программы начали тестовую трансляцию в режиме Т2-МI на позиции 23.5°E

На позиции 23,5°E, которую также использует оператор чешско-словацкой спутниковой платформой Skylink, активен еще один вещательный транспондер. На новой емкости тестируются телевизионные и радио программы из Украины.

На новой емкости задействована частота 12,285 GHz в вертикальной поляризации. Мультиплекс работает в гибридном режиме - классический контент для DTH каналов и содержит два потока T2-MI, которые не "видят" обычные телевизионные приемники (set top boxy).

Обычные приставки или телевизоры настраиваются на вышеуказанные каналы только на 9 радиопрограмм — а именно  «Украинское радио», «Радио Проминь», «Радио Культура», «Радио Точка», «Голос Донбасса», «Тиса FM», «Армия FM», «Радио Новое время» и «Голос Киева». Все станции вещают с audio битрейтом составляют 256 кбит/с (кроме Radio Novoe Vremja, у которого 192 кбит/с). Радиопрограммы доступны  бесплатно (FTA).

В режиме T2-MI (PLP 0, PID 4096) транслируется пакет украинских телевизионных программ. Однако они закодированны системой (CA BISS), поэтому даже (set top boxy) с поддержкой T2-MI не находит их под своими названиями. В пакет КРРТ входят станции Army TV, RADA, Sonce, My Ukraina, Suspilne Kultura, Pershiy (все MPEG-4/SD) и «Svitlo» (MPEG-4/HD).

Второй мультиплексор T2-MI (PLP 0, PID 4097) содержит 12 программных позиций «DSNS Informed» без контента. Реально это один канал, остальные виртуальные позиции.

Мультиплексоры T2-MI являются копией передачи со спутника Astra 4A (4,8°E), с частоты 12,073 GHz, pol. H, SR 30000, 2/3, DVB-S2/8PSK.
